For us that would mean around 29k."

For as long as the people ruling us come through public/private schools and oxbridge, we as the working man will always be second class citizens . We need our politicions to come through local government or trade unions to be represented again. It seems obvious to me that the ruling classes make cuts that affect the poorest in our communities to make up for mistakes caused by the richest .
Oh , and by the way sack Hughes !

Like the famous R Alan Johnson, while I'm online I'm going to email Andrew Neil to see if he on This Week ,this week so he can ask him whether he is for or against Hughes

Oh by the way, Hughes till chrimbo at least, only cause of the size of the back room staff and WHAT they are trying to do ....... his luck has to change soon ! He really can't be as unlucky as Barry from Eastenders can he ?

NW Hoopz, you have made some fair points - Respect to you! You were fortunate to be given the choice of education - no such luck this end sadly. My folks had more money than sense.
Oh, and just to get the thread back on track (apologies for the diversion), give Sparky time - he'll come good

Hughes has to come good a bit like 'call-me-Dave'

My Dad also had too much spare cash BUT he choose to 'invest' it in Greyhounds

oh dear - my old man actually owned a greyhound at one time - called it George Goddard, after one of QPR's best known forwards of the 1930's. think it was the 30's not sure tbh. It never won anything.

I am not his biggest fan, but i think we need to stick with him and really get behind the team. At the start of the season i said i couldn't see us picking up many points until November as the team woudl take time to gel, and look what we now have, watch the matches from the start of the season and see how well we are now playing. Yes, we may be bottom, but our team is really starting to develop nicely, the players are starting to read each others game, we are creating chances and are now defending well. If we started the season playing like this we would be mid-table. In some scenarios, you have to go backwards to go forwards and that is never as true as now. We could have kept the team we had last year (which imho was a championship team) and probably wouldn't be in the bottom 3, but certainly wouldn't finish in the top 15. But now we have rebuilt the team from pretty much scratch and only now are we starting to see results. If the everton and Arsenal games had been the first 2 games of the season, no one would be complaining on here. We would all be saying things looked promising.
Hughes has got to be one of our worst managers ever, his record is pathetic. He seems deviod of passion and does not fill me with any confidece that he and his team are the right people to take us forward. Having said that i feel he needs to be given the next 4 game sbefore anything is done, we need at least 7 points otherwise it will be curtains , no matter what any of us think.

Victoria Coren isnt it? Never realised she was an R! Would never have put her and David Mitchell together for some reason.

She's very intelligent and funny, they should get on just fine. I thought she could do better, but hey, a good sense of humour is important to some ladies (it's the only reason I can think that my wife married me tbf)

She's got a terrible gambling habit though...... Coren, not my wife.......

Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
