Just before NW got sacked, we were completely outplayed by league 2 side MK Donkeys in the FA Cup 3rd round.Originally posted by scuberry View PostHow can it get worse ?? we are heading for relegation ffs,i didnt want Warnock sacked i thought we had stabilty then and we were in a far better position but he was sacrificed,if we get someone new in we have a chance but if we still get relegated then what have we lost, there's no guarantees Hughes can turn this around our away record is dreadful,so why should he be given more of a chance than Warnock ??
If we were to play MK Donkeys next week, I would immediately rush out and put everything I have on no repeat of last year's shameful embarrasement.
Like it, or not, we are playing well at the moment, we weren't towards the end of Neil's reign.
And there's always more than a glimmer of hope when you are at least playing well.
On the other hand, if you're playing badly, even to the point where a league 2 side are giving you tips on how to pass the ball to each other, retain possession for an acceptable length of time, etc, etc, then it's high time to get rid of the manager.

We have been bottom all season and if thats not heading for relegation even at this early stage i dont know what is,but my point is that people seem to think Hughes should be given time, why ?? Warnock wasnt and we were in a much healthier state at that time, just bafffles me that some see him as some sort of messiah !Originally posted by twranger View Postwe were heading for relegation during the last game of last season v man city when the bolton game was in the balance - thats heading for relegation - not just now, with 9 games gone and plenty more to go. we'll see!

I'm not sure of late that he's not getting the best from the team, I'm very encouraged by the way we're playing and yesterday contained Arsenal at their ground.Originally posted by NortholtRanger View PostIf a manager isnt getting the best out of his team then stability shouldnt be an issue.

I don't see MH as being a messiah.Originally posted by scuberry View PostWe have been bottom all season and if thats not heading for relegation even at this early stage i dont know what is,but my point is that people seem to think Hughes should be given time, why ?? I do however, feel he deserves at least what Neil Warnock got, half the season.

Admittedly they're not what they were, but Wilshire and Sagna back yesterday really did improve them, and until Malteser head decided to give them a helping hand we had held them fairly comfortably and I thought we could go on and win it. Didn't you think?Originally posted by Gtleighsr3 View PostArsenal are a shaddow of their former selves though.they are good but not fantastic anymore.
