Every club has a back up team so lets not get carried away with that,Most Spurs fans were gutted when HR was sacked and most would like him back, excellent manager but I agree there is no guarantee he would take the rangers job, personally I think MH is on borrowed time,Results must improve very soon

Most of the goals conceded have largely been down to individual defensive errors in some part down to injury problems my only real complaints about Hughes are the selection and ommisions (SWP in and Cisse and or Hoilett out).Originally posted by QPRDave View PostIndividual mistakes simple as that, can prepare all you like but if the team give the ball away the way we do we will get punished. Players have to take responsibility for the basics

Yeah fair point,.. but most clubs have scouting & academy plans already up and running, so I don't think you should dismiss the work Mike Rigg does tbh. Of course MH is on borrowed time so is every manager in the PremOriginally posted by Rebel R's View PostEvery club has a back up team so lets not get carried away with that,Most Spurs fans were gutted when HR was sacked and most would like him back, excellent manager but I agree there is no guarantee he would take the rangers job, personally I think MH is on borrowed time,Results must improve very soon
but we have to stand by him, the one think we heard when he came to us was his teams took time to gel together, but I think there are patches in games where we are playing some lovely football, I think we're getting there

So injuries mean nothing then? we have had to play players out of position in defence. and as I say you can't legislate for individuals making horrendous errors that are being punished to the fullOriginally posted by Fubar View PostThis is hughe's team, should have ironed out the defensive
Crap by now, even lower league managers would have plugged
The defense by now

To be perfectly honest, I take criticism from people on this board with a pinch of salt. See lots of criticism for Hughes, QPR and teams we play. But have not seen many praise for anyone.
When we did well against Chelsea and Spurs, people were quick to dismiss them as being poor. But who is good this season then if they are poor?

I forget, was it after the Swansea defeat or the Norwich draw that you first decided we should call an end to Hughes's season?Originally posted by Rebel R's View PostEvery club has a back up team so lets not get carried away with that,Most Spurs fans were gutted when HR was sacked and most would like him back, excellent manager but I agree there is no guarantee he would take the rangers job, personally I think MH is on borrowed time,Results must improve very soon
Was reading somewhere that under Hughes Fulham were bottom or there abouts at Christmas and ended the season in 8th place, their best ever season I think. I'm as frustrated as anyone he didn't sort the defence out properly in the close season but these endless threads trying to undermine Hughes have one thing in common - zero strategy for a long term, stable, alternative future for QPR.
