I just let it wash over me now, particularly after reading that list of how much other clubs have spent this summer. Anyone wd think we are the new Man City. Yes we must be spending a fortune in wages but in transfer fees we have been incredibly astute.

Two complete different type of players, AJ will chase down more than Berbatov, granted Berbatov is a class act, I feel we have enough in our ranks with maybe a little help from midfield to hold out until next season for a quality striker

..........Plus Johnson has more chance of winning a penalty

yet no one else could,nt have nicked him off fulham?? aj as a stopgap/bencher or berba as your main lad is a huge difference. personally think berba is better suited to a more european style of football and his game does not suit the faster pace of the prem. fulham will get short thrift for their dough was my point.
