Never given a chance under NW though tbf. He did very well for Blackpool in the prem and looked good so far for Saints by all accounts.

Doubt Madrid and Jose will demand £9mil for him, they are one of the worst clubs for just letting players go for small prices if they dont want them. But if Granero does well for us then look for madrid to buy him back next summer - it's what they do!

they sold Granero to Getafe with a re-buy clause....then bought him back the following year (this was after his season on loan to Getafe)

That's ok, just show him a few pics of the fans and the city and that'll be enough to put him off!
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I don't think they're done at all. That's too quick for QPR, if anything it'll come down to the last few hours of transfer deadline day.

He participated in winning the French Ligue 1, being replaced at mid-season in a centre back position, along with his team mate Souleymane Diawara. His repositioning as a center back was a success and he played the rest of the season in this position, where he was considered to be one of the best performers in Didier Deschamps' squad.
I might be wrong but I think Hughes got Kompany to do the same thing at Man City. Worked a treat.

Why are so many people so insecure as to need to try and claim kudos by saying such things as "you heard it here first"... as if to say they got it from the horses mouth and it's some exclusive.... where they alude to the fact it was broadcast on TV for all to see.... perhaps they heard it there first eh....

                                sad news..

                                according to YAHOO UK

And now to Spain... Earlier we reported that QPR were set to sign Esteban Granero, but according to Marca Sevilla have entered the bidding for the Spain midfielder. Granero's Real Madrid colleague Ricardo Carvalho is also being linked with QPR.
