Other clubs would also pay fairly sizeable signing on fee's, free transfer or not, no?

Absolutely they would, and as i said along with Wigan we have the smallest home gates, revenue wise to transfers in, i think we have done remarkable well.

Other fans and clubs just have the hump on with us for signing players they think they should be in for so the easy thing to do is kick us. When you see that in black and white it would suggest that we have been sensible with how we have gone about our business

Its a shame that other fans dont see through the myth!!

That excludes what we have sold players like Kenny, Connolly, Smith, Helguson with DJ and Bothroyd's futures still to be decided.

Stan the w*nker Collymore basically slagging us off for spending, saying he don't think we'll get relegated, because we'll just throw money at it, like no one else spends a penny.

What I don't understand blue and white is,........ doesn't it make good business sense to invest say £10/15mill to get £70mill? Not that we have spent anywhere near that, but that would be around the figure we would get if we finish in the same place as last year when the new deal kicks in

We're not spending on transfer fees, but we are spending on wages. Will be interesting to see what our wage bill for the year is. I think this is the issue, that the media are reporting outlandish wages for our club and people accept it at face value.

I'm more worried about the media and the FA's treatment of us in the last season. A lot more than what fans' on other forums think, that's for sure. We seem to be getting rough treatment, and completely undeserved.

I'm thinking maybe improving the club's profile in the media is high up on the agenda right now, and if sacrificing Joey Barton was part of that? Then maybe it's a good thing he's going. Not nice to make the guy a scapegoat, but I love QPR more than a good but volatile football player.
