echo those sentiments, lets not forget all our deceased former players, some who passed away far too early
I must away now, I can no longer tarry
This morning's tempest I have to cross

Isn't it Daphne Biggs' anniversary, too?
May they both rest in peace.

RIP Big Man - who knows what sort of player he would have been know eh. Great talent.

A lot of people will make a big deal out of Ray Jones and whilst it was a tragic incident the contribution of Daphne Biggs to the club was far greater and for me in years to come should be held in far greater regard

RIP to all our former players, staff and legends

Just an observation though, have we ever won a game when we have paid respect to a player/legend/someone connected to the club? I mean I remember losing 3-0 to the saints after RJ and last Sat we paid tribute to AM and lost. I always think it has an unsettling affect, has to be done though.
I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles

Also, had Ray Jones survived the incident he'd probably have been locked up for death by dangerous driving and disowned by everyone on this forum. RIP to everyone that died.

Why post that on a thread where people are paying respect to Ray Jones? If you hold Daphne Biggs in higher regard post in the Daphne Biggs thread.
