If he earned his place in the squad back and MH gave him another chance... Would we take him back??

No.. he's had chance after chance at one club after another and doesn't change.

From the moment he joined us, he treated our club and fans with contempt, acted like he owned the place and that he was above us and bigger than the club. The way he acted after Warnock's sacking was disgraceful. He proved against City last season that he hasn't changed, he is still a thug. From watching him week in week out last season I can also say that he is just a VERY average midfielder.

He has created this image and persona for himself, but really it's all a load of b****cks- he's still a nasty piece of work and our club is a far better place without him. The sooner he disappears, the sooner we can go back to being QPR and not 'that team Joey Barton plays for'.
              Amen to that too.

NU are a proper club with proper fans, but also have proper pro players and our JB didn't fit anymore. Warnock thought he could tame our Joey in the same way he thinks he can tame Diouf, its an ego thing with Neil and when all the other clubs were wise enough to steer well clear, we got lumbered. Never have liked him, he shows no loyalty or respect.

JB isn't a team player, or a 'proper' player, he's arrogant, selfish and is a bad disruptive influence. He doesn't deserve a 'proper' club. Best club for him is Galatasary

Barton is bang average, i could understand a huge ego if he had some outstanding quality. Unfortunately he suffers from Nacciassm Personality disorder big time. He is a liability.

thesourcefooty got it right in my opinion.

                    fined

                    banned for 12 matches

                    stripped of captincy

stopped from going on tour to asia.

i think that is enough punnishment.

let him work hard and try to earn his place back in the team once the 11 games are up.

Totally agree, although we haven't hung drawn and quartered him yet!!! He did lose his temper but...............we didn't get relegated so he's been punished enough, good post Hitman

                        Cheers dave.

whatever peoples views are of the man he has a winning mentality. its people with that attitude is what we need and want to keep.

he maybe a thug on the pitch but he is OUR thug and all he wants is to win. thats not a bad thing to have in your team is it.

he will run all day, can pick out a good pass, link up play is superb, closes down like a blood hound. why spend another 6-7 mil on a player when we already have what we need.

                        only 11 games to go.

                        theres only one joey barton!

I'm sure I read a MH interview which said he's already told Barton he won't be in the 25 so don't expect to see him in a Rangers shirt till January at the earliest, if ever.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

But just in case, which Joey Barton are you taking about, because I don't think it was the one we saw last season at QPR?
