I'd sooner have a decent centre half than either of em, to my way of thinking the lack at the back has been made more serious our new GK.... I can see him flopping about in my nightmares while everyone is like "we told you so"...... P.Schmeichel would have been a proper investment.... forget Berbatov / Defoe, it doesn't matter who is up front if the back door's open. Oh well.

Berba by a mile for me, would link up perfectly with Cisse, Tarrabt, Hoilett and Faurlin,,wouldnt suprise me if some of our older fans compared it to the 70s if we had all them playing together!

Berbatov and it's not even close. Pure class and would give us a completely different dimension.

We are in a better place, but anyone can start these rumours - in fact the club themsleves have an intereste in us being linked with targets we will never sign.
While I agree in part, the fact we're able to make bids for players like Defoe and Berbatov is a tremendous turnaround for the club compared to where we were. I think that's what Richard was getting at.

I voted Defoe, I wouldn't have thought Berbatov is right for us, just think he'd see us as a payday, too small for him. He's linked to huge clubs, i just think some players fit clubs and some don't.
Hughes has just said on ssn it's news to him

I'd prefer Berbatov, but I'd agree if AC Milan were in for him he'd suit them better than us.

None whatsoever, which is why I have also been involved in the fun mate? Bit baffled by your reply really.

That wasn't at you, it was a continuation of what you said, more aimed at the sour puss you quoted

Thanks, yes it was. It's also not an impossibility signing either of those two. Who'd have thought a couple of years ago we'd sign players like Park or Cisse?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

I appreciate your patriotic feelings but Berbatov is far the better player than Defoe. I have promised if he signs for us, I`ll stamp our logo on my bulgarian national flag /I will do it anyway :D / and on my British national one.
