Club media man just confirmed this on twitter. Really hope we don't sign this clown, we already have an injury prone former England international midfielder. Plus we already have Barton, Derry, Park, Faurlin and Diakite who can all play central midfield
We're Queens Park Rangers and we always do things the hard way!

Hardly call him a clown for being injured.

If the deal worked for us, then i would have no issue. The owners aren't stupid and if he proves his fitness, which lets facer it is more likely than Dyer, he is a top class player. He scored a cracker for City on his debut last season and was one of the best players on the park. I'm also not sure how injured he was last season, and how much the lack of games was because he just didn't get in the side. Maybe if their European campaign had lasted longer he may have got more games in vbarious comps as they rotate more.

Plus he's a FK specialist which would always be handy when on the pitch.

Calling him a clown is a bit harsh, he was a top, top player who has been very unlucky and you have to admire his desire to keep playing despite all the setbacks. That said, his career is over and I don't think signing him is going to do us any good.

Whilst is doesn't look good for him, I think breaking into Man City's midfield was always going to be difficult and I dont remember hearing of him getting any re-occurance of his injuries during training.... who knows, but for the OP to call him a clown is laughable really.

Is it possible on loan to replace Barton

Sorry forget that I did not realize he was without a club.

By all accounts he was fit last deason but couldn't get into the City team, he could be a great signing, as for Dyer he could also suprise a few, these guys wouldn't play week in week out buy will add experience and depth to the squad.

Yeah as if having a England ex international who has played for great teams is not good to have around our young boys. Sign him up on a pay as you play deal great business there.

Ex-Man City star training with Queens Park Rangers

Queens Park Rangers have confirmed that Owen Hargreaves is training with the club.
The injury-prone former Manchester City midfielder is without a team after being released this summer.
But the west London side are letting the ex-England international take part in their pre-season sessions as he looks to regain his fitness.
A statement on the club’s website said: “Former Manchester City, Manchester United and Bayern Munich midfielder Owen Hargreaves is training with the QPR First Team.

Fair points. It should also be noted that by all accounts he's a model pro with fantastic experience so probably isn't a bad person to have around the camp. Might even get Zamora to consider how lucky he is and pull finger.
