thats it they are plans still under consultation...imperial college was on the other side of sheperds bush -white city link....so its all in the air on all sites

I don't think the plan is to build on the Scrubs itself, but on the LC stadium site. It would be difficult to build on the Scrubs anyway, because the area is designated an open space by an Act of Parliament from 1879.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Sorry to put a spanner in the works but the Linford Christire Stadium is on the scrubs which is leased from the owner, the MOD. As far as I was aware we want to own the land we build the new stadium on and not lease it. This story has been doing the rounds for years!!:yush:

Isn't there rugby team that play at the Linford Christie stadium? London Nigerians or something?

I dont think that the hospital would have anything to do with if the ground is approved or not.

Chelsea are right on top of Chelsea and Westminster hospital and get double the crowds we do and there are no objections or problems

                      Linford Christie Stadium

The guy who posted this apparently has links within the construction industry, says this is where our new stadium will be made

I saw this on QPR transfer news on Facebook. If this isn't far from White City/Wetsfields then I'm all for this
                        Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
                        And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Chelsea paid towards the redevelopment of the stadium. Can't think they did this so that we could take it over.

I would be surprised if this was true, being right next to the hospital it could cause serious issues for emergency services on match days, only a thought !

What the hell does this have to do with the construction industry

Anybody who works in design and construction knows this is high level at the very most. For a construction contractor to be involved design tender drawings need to be available..what a load of ********.

Then there's the small matter of the MOD who own a rake of the land around there
