Personally would be surprised at this considering he's just signed a new deal & proved to be a player MH could count on & trust.

Blackburn boss Steve Kean is making an ambitious £3.5million bid to sign Queens Park Rangers' Scotland forward Jamie Mackie.

Kean has approached his Hoops counterpart Mark Hughes with an offer for Mackie and is now in discussions with the player's camp about a move to the Championship promotion hopefuls.

For me, Mackie is the player you want in the team against the top clubs. He's shown his worth, in the games against Spurs, Liverpool and Man City most notably, he's valuable part of the squad.

Rubbish for four rerasons:

1. Blackburn cannot negotiate on Hoilett when he is free. They are only due compensation.
2. Mackie has just signed a new contract.
3. Mackie would not move to the place he got injured.
4. Blackburn are $hit with $hit owner.
