Yes if Torquay had a milti billionaire owner he would take into consideration his options. For a player of his calibre there are loads of clubs offering deals, hes gotta look at all the options

Contract is in Asia and can meet up with the squad on Wednesday for the second leg of the tour.
Big decision for the lad just been relegated and I wasn't a rangers fan I'd be nervous about joining us.
We haven't closed the door up to the player

You'd like to think that word that follows us around at the mo would come into their thinking wouldn't you..........ambition, which i realise would mean he should join BMG

            Sounds about right to me.

Tony should send over a private jet (in QPR colours) with a a few specially selected stewardesses to help him make his decision.....

Been said before that if we were in a similar position and able to make outrageous demands would we do the same. While one likes to think not, who really knows how we would react. Goes back to the old, how much is enough. We are talking crazy figures here, like just unbelievable. There are players out there I'm certain, and there only motivation is money. They will move anywhere. Look at the players heading off to Russia and China. Surely it's only for the money ? I really don't know what the answer is. We've gone too far maybe and there is no turning back. Can certainly see why probably many fans feel so alienated from the players now. Let's just hope we can move on and at the same time retain at least something of what has made Rangers the club that is and not sell our soul. Guess we'll see lol ? By the way I go back to the old Division Three South days !

Tbf "we haven't closed the door up to the player" is pretty such stating the bleeding obvious,Hughes wants him and as I've said from day one,I think he will end up a QPR player, and I'm not ITK

This also makes me think that everyone blew things out of proportion with him flying to germany, i personally think he wanted to spend sometime with his brother before extending his stay to england as a QPR, and there is no doubt in my mind that he will join us

I am fed up of this Hoilett saga.

If he wants to come then welcome. If he wants to play that money game to get more than 30-40k / week then pi$$ off. I hope we do not pay like Portsmouth. Look what has happened to them. I think Tony has been clear on giving dealines to players to sign before travelleving to Asia. As he has been free, there was no need to negotiate with his club so I guess the negiotation should be faster. He needs to realise he is young and needs to time to prove himself. One season is still not enough. Yes he's got potential and only time will prove If he can improve. We had players who had potential and never improved like Pacquette, Balanta and Bean If you remember. By delaying his decision, he will not have enough time to train with his new club to gel with the new players and regain fitness.

the club probably got his jabs done just in case he signed so he can join the tour.

I agree with you totally. Though a good player, I do not think he is vital to the team. By not signing, he lessens he chances of playing regularly, because if the nucleus of a team is built up during the Asia tour, MH possibly won't want to make too many changes.
