Hughes has admitted visiting Spain, Germany and France so we are in talks with a forward from europe who can play off the strikers or on the wing....I think that covers those bases....Fabio has been linked for a long time so an easy guess to make and that dutch player likewise.....Samba's and De Jongs link is easy; Samba because of our suppossed link in Jan and De Jong coz he aint getting much game time and Huges brought him in.....Bentley again is an easy link....players leaving like Kenny to Leeds? Not out of this world nor is Campbell back to Blackpool....as for other names linked, just scour the net for hours on end and you can find qpr linked with numerous players.....easy if you can be bothered/sad individuals.....

I think what this site needs is a "Yousefsviews". You could give us a weekly update on your take on the latest transfer activity and maybe chuck in the occassional Kuwait weather report. It could be like the good old days with QBlockPete's video transfer update and phone in!

The only person on here who I take rumours for seriously is ric-roc every other chap who just say trust me I take with a pinch of salt. This is not aimed at posters who post a rumour or link when they provide a source which they heard this from .

To be honest it's a good thing.

Whilst it was quite exciting coming on here and getting the latest rumours from the likes of Pete, Scott Jones and more recently Walk On By, the fact is there was far too many leaks coming out of the club. From what I've heard, leaks on supporters sites have jeopardised and in some cases actually prevented transfers from happening. Obviously it is no secret that the leaks all in one way or another came from Paladini and now he's gone it seems that we don't hear about too many rumours until the transferes are just about done.

And about time to.. Exactly how it should be.

Hypothetical example of how the old regime was damaging.....

Imagine the imminent signing of Diakite had been leaked, alerting other clubs that his expected move to Lyon was not set in stone as most thought, and someone else took a gamble on him in Jan and snatched him from under our noses. Result, we'd have missed out on the best prospect we've seen for years, and we'd most likely be in the Championship next season.

Things should be kept confidential until completed. Luckily we have proper people in the hot seats now and they know how to run a business and football club.
