tough call tbh with the players listed. lots of reasons listed above for not giving it to certain players and i agree. hoping to sign a real captain because my pick of anton,green and ned are not what i would hope for in the biggest season in a long time.

I don't think Ferdinand is captain material, hill and nelson are not likely to play every week, but I would go with one of them or green.

I've maintained for a while now we need to buy a captain....Nelsen or Hill are prob the closest but not definate starters

the difference is you gave your point of view and i'm sure you won't be classed as clueless. hill i would expect to be a non-starter every week with nelson arriving who is a strong possibility depending on his pre-season. just in that list is a tight call between 3/4 players.

a captain needs to be the first player on the team sheet, and will play most of the season ,apart from the GK the rest don't seem to be 100% nailed on ,so i can see W12 view ,but we tried this last year with Barton so this is were MH earns his money

Looking at that list...I don't see a natural captain in there..... I voted for Dezza but TBH that's not a long term solution....
