For the record, there is a very small minority of posters that seem to continuously either have digs at certain others or court controversy for the sake of it. Whilst nobody is suggesting that differences of opinion shouldn't exist, breaking forum rules is not the way to deal with them.

Personally speaking, I don't like giving out warnings and/or infraction points, but it appears that some posters are intent on getting them. So, unless they change their approach, they may well find their wishes coming true. Hopefully they are sensible enough to realise the implications and that they will not be missed.

Well I'm really touched by all the kind posts in this thread. Thanks, wasn't expecting that at all.

On the whole its been a great pleasure to help out with the forum. Originally it was just going to be for a month, which became almost a year

Del, Kit, Swanley or Bushcelt I think would all make worthy successors. And yes, maybe even Factamondo if he can temper his less 'moderate' side a little

I will definitely keep posting - this place is too addictive (in a good way) to stop! And I know I'd miss too many of the characters on here
