Dortmund are a blo.ody good side with youngsters all over the gaff.

Schalke very competitive as their European record of late shows.

    Bayern always a class side.

Gladbach good but will be interesting to see how they cope with the loss of Reus and Dante.
thanks nik i bow to your knowledge

Deadend how are they doing season tics cheaper? If they are on the up and start attracting players for instance from the prem they will have to pay the big money we pay surely?

Norwegian ex. Arsenal youngster Håvard Nordtveit is one of their best players.
We were once rumoured to be after him.
Regarding Hoilett, I think he will suit German Fotball very well.

Dave, the Bundesliga is the most profitable league in the world. They're very stringent with their finances, and don't rely on rich sugar daddies to run their clubs.

They're not allowed to go into debt, and have salary caps. They live by their means, and if this growth continues they'll have the best league in the world bar none very soon.

And as others have said, their league plays good football and is very competitive full of some fantastic footballers.

But then surely they won't attract the top players around mate. Have to say it is a pity we don't all follow their lead cause that would end all these mega salaries in an instant

yeah, but the standard of defending in germany is (surprisingly) terrible. hoilett would improve tremendously if he stayed in the prem, in the bundesliga, he'll develop much more slowly. same applies to adel if the wolfsburg rumours are true.

They can afford big salaries. Maybe not as big as the Premier Leagues. But then to offer these contracts the clubs are operating at big losses. Financial fair play will put a crinker in the works, but the Bundesliga already operate that way.

The clubs are owned by the fans and they don't pay stupid over the top wages and transfer fees like we do. Doubt Bayerns top players earn the kind of money Man City's do

Suprised he settled for them. Yes, they are in the CL qualifiers, but theyre not a top side and play in a pretty poor domestic league. I would have thought he would have tried and got himself into 1 of the top 6 in the prem, IMO, he is good enough for that.

I wouldn't want him to play for England. He's Canadian, not English. The England team should be for Englishman, not Canadians!
