The kid is class. It will be instead of Taiwo (who hasn't signed for us, despite what some people seem to think on here). If he can stay fit it is one hell of a signing, and we will save the transfer fee and pay lower wages then we would have done with Taiwo and got a player who is as good. Very good business if true.

Well let's hope Sir Alex is doing Sparky a favour by giving us some his players on loan.

        Lindegaard and Anderson next please!

No, he's the one that was/is regarded as the more talented twin but hasn't been able to get a game due to injuries and Patrice Evra being captain/a great player.

Yeah you could put it like that!

There's no place in the starting lineup for him there with Evra, Smalling and Jones.

He did get 10 goals in 13 for Brazil u17s! and has had 2 apps for the senior squad so he can't be that bad!

Yeah left back, I think he's right footed though? His most comfortable position is left back and if we can keep him fit for a season it would be a great signing. Really hope it's true, meaning we can spend the 3.5 mil that we would have spent on Taiwo + 50k a week (take away around 250k for a loan fee) on other positions.

I do like a genuinely left-sided, right footed player...

Andy Sinton was one of my favourite wingers cutting in from the left.

Seems about right, a bit of a hot head likely to contribute to our push to break the disciplinary record total next season

Might save us some money in not signing taiyo
its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworks
