Disscusing Barton on talksport now

Face it guys - Joey's got a lot of form with all this. His previous crimes go before him. That's why everyone's talking about it on here. And that's why talksport have devoted the last 2 hours to discussing Barton and nothing else (not to mention everywhere else).

No one would be talking about it if this was his first offence...and its unlikely his punishment would have been as severe.

Used to like Saggers, not anymore - really has it in for Barton.
He first tried to put words into Gordon Taylor's mouth about banning him for life.(rejected).
Then he rubuffed the notion of hypocrisy of the FA from one caller re the Rooney red card in the Euro's and the way the FA went crawling to Uefa to reduce the ban.
Then he completely dismissed Tevez's part in the whole affair.

Its not really a 12 game ban though....its 4 for the initial red card 3 games plus a further 1 for second sending off....& 4 games each for offences to aguero & Kompany i take it
