What's your take on breach of contract, gross misconduct?

I think I addressed this in another thread. I think it is also harder to do this when QPR coach Marc Bircham has told talkSPORT that the club are disappointed with the length of Joey Barton’s ban for violent conduct.(Source Talksport). In other words why would the club say disappointed with the length of ban, top player etc when you think you are going to sack him. The length is no odds if you were in your mind thinking of sacking him.

However if you listen closely he makes a reference to the club investigation and what happens afterwards, I take that to be his Twitter comments e.g "take another one with you." So watch this space, again the limit on this per offence will be 2 weeks wages.

Much as I hate Chelsea with a passion and in particular JT, in footballing terms who would you rarther have in your team - a player who cannot control his temper, who has got sent off more times than most EVERY season of his career, cannot motivate and lead a team or someone, who ain't perfect but leads a team well and has scored more goals from defence than our Joey?

If you had to have one of them who would it be?

barton was p rick for the way he behaved-yes the game has gone soft but he knows he done wrong. even 25 years ago he would have got a red for any of the first two instances against city. he will never play for england in the future and could easy fc uk up his career if he carries on making bad judgements on the pitch. bar the last 6 odd games he has been absolutely sithe and he needs to get his head together to prove to hughes he still has a rangers future. take the captainsy off him straight away-fine him massively(not fa fine) and take him off twitter if possible. imo he could return to the form he showed at city and newcastle and the few decent games he played recently. he needs to take it all on the chin and work proper hard between now and the end of his ban. he owes us big time.

The defence will be a very detailed breakdown of the events in those few mad pandemonium seconds. The defence and thereby guilty or not guilty test is not that of a criminal court. Nevertheless it will be put that was not JB projecting his head to hit another player, more of a reflex action as if responding to what he thought was a powerful force or hit from the rear of his skull. Doubt will be introduced as to whether it was the latter action that took place and not the former.

Posing the question for the Disciplinary Panel to believe without reasonable doubt that it was an action of JB to strike another player.

However having struck two players already, probable cause would be that he was going for his hat trick.

Your assesment of the situation personally leads me to the conclusion that the FA are showing howmuch they detest QPR AND Barton of course.
In due course,I sincerly hope the club will appeal the verdict if it has anyway reach a conclusion,(so far).

thats right..we are not all perfect and we all have a temper and a breaking point. Joey lost his temper on the field of play and its just a shame that the argies wouldnt retaliate or one of them might have got sent off too and evened it up. Thats the trouble with the spicks and wops they just dont fight back and go down like a #####s knickers
