The defence will be a very detailed breakdown of the events in those few mad pandemonium seconds. The defence and thereby guilty or not guilty test is not that of a criminal court. Nevertheless it will be put that was not JB projecting his head to hit another player, more of a reflex action as if responding to what he thought was a powerful force or hit from the rear of his skull. Doubt will be introduced as to whether it was the latter action that took place and not the former.
