30 years in the lower loft now got to move because of stupid rule. So wrong and I am going to fight this so much. All it is is 300 and if everyone renews can't ask for a junior to have season ticket to seat there as limit is all present season ticket. So next season I have to see glory hunters seating in my seat. So wrong makes me mad club put profit before true fan. This sounds like to many of prem clubs now wishing we went down.

Have to leave my fav seat as over 6ft i need leg room so can only go to Uppe Loft why has LL gotta be Family Stand the atmosphere will be awful. This could backfire with over 300 of us having to move means less tickets available on day.Do they really want an empty lower loft???

With all due respect mate, in what way are you planning on "fighting it"?Originally posted by maccatwo View Post30 years in the lower loft now got to move because of stupid rule. The simple facts of the matter are that wherever the owners decide to put a "family area", it will involve a large number of people potentially having to give up seats they may have held for a long time. For obvious reasons, it cannot be the school end and presumably it would make perfect sense for it to be not only on the lowest level, but also one with less numbers. This being the case, you are only left with the lower loft or the paddocks. I personally would have thought the paddocks would have been the most appropriate.
Don't think that you will see "glory hunters" in your seat at all, most probably existing families or people introducing their children for the first time.
Furthermore, it's a little ridiculous to accuse the club of putting profit before fans when under 8's are still free in an attempt to encourage and attract new fans at an early age. The club would earn greater revenue in the short term by selling the seat to you at full price.
But short term is not what the owners consider paramount judging by the continued investment in the management team, new training ground and academy, possible new ground at some point, along with some top quality players. All of which makes your last sentence the most ridiculous of all.

Please tell me what happens when we get a new stadium. Will all the people complaining now, refuse to move?
What I would say is, unless I missed it, that months of notice should have been given to the fanbase as a whole. In any walk of life, no-one likes change, unless they can understand the benefit of it. Given that there may be a new stadium on it's way at some time, surely it would have been better anyway, to not do it.

Women and children shouldn't be allowed in. Having their own section is just adding salt to the wound. They will have their own toilets and changing facilities next.
Stop the rot.
