I didn't watch it. Only saw the odd post on here and stopped reading most of them now. Won't be watching any Sky sports channels for a week or so, listening to the radio, reading papers, web articles or anything.

I'm feeling remarkably cleansed due to this abstinence of all things dirty. It's like it never even happened.

What did happen, other than an English team who finished 6th in their own league, scraped a win on penalties against a German team who came nowhere near to winning their league.

Following on of course from a rather lucky semi final win against a team that didn't win theirs either.

Sounds a bit like the european equivalent of the Johnstones Paint Tropy.
