Gomez wa a liability when he played regularly. I can only imagine how inept he'd be now....

He will make great saves but just as likely to drop the simplest of catches over the line.

why not Robinson or Foster.

When Gomes is good, he's very, very good. (At PSV he's a legend for his hand in their Champions league run a few years back), When he's bad though...

Foster would be less of a gamble for probably a similar price.
