yeah, exactly like roy keane minus the ability. barton is an average footballer at best who is great at losing his rag completely and pretending he has a brain on twitter

No you get angry and hit back like joey did aguero gets in his face wrong move to do when a man has just been punched of course he will react kompany gets up in his face natural reaction hit the ##### before he hits you. Well that's how I see it I'm a down to earth guy I don't agree with fighting but I understand what happens when someone does hit you!

my only advice to Barton (and Cisse, come to think of it) go down and stay down, let the Tevez's and Johnsons get the red card

I like Barton as a person, but he is not a rolemodel for what we(I) want QPR to represent. He is actually representing bad press and nothing more.
I will give him one more chance to behave though.
Sorry, that's the hockey player in me coming out! In fact many of my Canadian friends who watched it felt the same way, how many times did the refs convemiently let the initial fouls go unpunished this season against us? Everyone has their breaking point!

Obviously the correct advice, but it must get a bit frustrating if they keep getting away with it.

Glad people do just seems that people are so used to this wussy nature in footballers (like a slight touch and they are crying) we need to remember there is so normal footballers out there who react the same as a average joe lol I posted a video earlier of a Liverpool legend John st I think it was who knocked a guy clean out back in the 50s lol I know times have changed but we still watch two people beat the crap out of each over in UFC lol it's not violence is completely disgraceful

                                Passion?

That was not passion but sheer thuggery.... Sean Derry shows passion because he is a hard and committed player whereas Joey Barton is a cowardly bully who would have been eaten alive by that beast Kompany given half a chance...

I am dismayed at some of the comments mistaking his behaviour as either something to be proud of or, something that can be harnessed and utilised in our favour...... The guy is a liability and I hope that he never plays for us again....

I expect to be accused of all sorts of PC related crimes but along with his 'defenders' I am entitled to my opinion so please respect this as I have yours(even though it is tripe...)....
