How did the linesman see the barton incident

From the far side of the pitch with plenty of players in the way was a hell of a spot. Pity he was not at Bolton for Clint's goal or at Man U for the offside/penalty.

Having replayed a few times it would have been completely impossible to see it

Have watched all the replays on MOTD and it's still not clear what Joey did. But his actions afterwards were shocking. Think the F.A will throw the book at him.

Tevez punched him. Barton elbowed him in the throat.

Should both be red. Barton was stupid to retaliate.

He was naughty what he did to Aguero, but Kompany was looking to have a go and so was Ballotelli, but there wasn't a mark on Tevez's (apart from what he always got), and he was holding his face when he went down, but yes afraid JB will get as deepcut said earlier a lengthy ban

both should have got red cards... and how the linesman doesn't spot tevez's assualt on barton (clear view) but manages to see barton's idiotic retaliation (5 players in the way?), i'll never know...

unless it had anything to do with how tevez mysteriously needed to roll around about 3 yards towards our goal in an attempt to con a penalty.

Begs the question why didn't Barton go down when Dracula lumped him?

Also beggars belief how the ref didnt see the whole incident as it happened right in front of him......
