Apparently Red is considered a lucky colour in the Far East! They believe on these grounds it will make the club easier to market to potential supporters. Your average fan in Kuala Lumpur couldn't care less what the Welsh national colour is.

Semi-ignoring the nasty anti-Welsh rubbish in this thread, it looks like this is going to be a reality.

Cardiff fans had a meeting at the club last night. Report says that they'll be new badge, new red kit (blue away)and new nickname. These are apparently non-negotiable.

Also probably major investment in the team, training facilities, and increased seating at the stadium. The kit stuff will still happen even if the other stuff doesn't come to fruition. *rollseyes*
