It's not that long ago that some of our signings were singled out on here for their poor start for their African origins coupled with some shameful racial stereotyping that they only play for money to finance flambouyant lifestyles, can't understand or stick to instructions, don't work hard etc and what we needed players of North European origin. Seemed that a few Alf Garnetts on here had been watching too much Triumph of the Will and Zulu!

Hopefully, after adapting to a new club, league, country and being thrown into a poor team low in confidence and a relegation battle, that 19th century outlook has put to bed by performances of Taiwo and Diakite which have been instrumental in getting us out of this mess - along with our players of North European origin.
