Bolton have 3 massive games in 8 days. Villa and Sunderland away and Spurs at home. Judging by their performances lately (poor) they could easily lose all 3. If that happens and we don't get anything from the bridge and Blackburn lose at Spurs, 3 points against Stoke will see us mathematically safe if Blackburn fail to beat Wigan Even if they do Blackburn would need to win at Chelsea and turnaround the goal difference.

Normally, most of us would rather Villa went down I suspect. I would. But we need them to win tomorrow and inflict a few injuries on Bolton's best players too. No room for sentiment here. Bolton finishing with 9 men would be good too.

It really needs to be a Villa win to cause maximum damage to Bolton below us for obvious reasons.

That said i can understand the logic i assume the people have if they want a Bolton win, thinking that leaves Villa well and truely iun the relegation mix also. Therefore it would be 2 from 5 relegated, not 2 from 4, so in theory improving the odds for us to survive....
