Mark Hughes thinks we will need 37 points to stay up

QPR boss Mark Hughes has targeted 37 points as the total needed for Premier League survival.

The Rangers coach (pic) finally came clean today after weeks of being asked the same question and reckons Aston Villa could get dragged into the relegation dogfight after winning only twice in 10 matches – and one of those against west London neighbours Fulham.

        Another 9 points?

We could be safe by this time next week.

34 definitely won't be enough, yesterday aside all the teams at the bottom have been picking up points. Always happens at this time of year when teams are fighting for survival!

Don't agree, just look at all the fixtures of all the relegation candidates, and i cannot see bottom three getting more than 33,i think we could well finish on 36 and i believe that will do,apart from wigan,i think the others will be lucky to win one more game !!

Well only time will tell mate. All I'm saying is it is the same every year, the sides at the bottom start winning games that nobody expects them to as they are fighting for their lives and have more to play for than their opponents in a lot of cases.

I hope you're correct and 34 - 36 points will be enough to keep us up, personally I fear that it won't be.
