One positive - Prem parachute payments. Whether that and the board's wealth can financially support keeping the majority of this squad is unclear.
We can assume (or hope and pray) that all recent signings have contracted wage reduction on relegation.
Diakite and Taiwo on loan are off obviously.
Hughes. The big question. Reputation will be in tatters, don't think he has a choice any more. Has the chance to rebuild the club from the ground up - training ground, stadium, everything. If he's still deluded enough may try to engineer an exit anyway.
Keepers - If Hughes stays then Kenny will be off the Leeds I think. Otherwise may stay.
Defence will all stay I think.
Barton - who will take him? Stayed with Newcastle may stick around this time too unfortunately.
SWP - will perhaps have a feeling his career is winding down and not mind staying. Doubt we would find many buyers and certainly not any willing to match his wages.
Adel - personally would feel sorry for the lad to see him stay any longer. Thanks for everything and hope he has a good career.
Faurlin - the other big question. Clubs may wait til he's fully fit. Will be up to him whether he or his agent kick up a fuss when a bid comes in.
Zamora and Cisse. Definitely still saleable assets. Will they hold any loyalty or resent playing in a lower division?
