I'm not sure that's what free speech should be understood. If what you say deserves censure, it should receive it.

I said earlier, free speech, such as it exists in this country should be treated with respect, and if you're likely to cause great offence by what you say, you should be thinking twice before saying it. If you do say it anyway, be prepared to explain it, or deal with the repurcussions.

Also consider that this public messageboard is not your front room, or the pub with your mates surrounding you. This is someone else's place and you should treat it with the same respect you would in any public forum.
