Sorry -I thought this board is all about reading and commenting! What's the point otherwise! MY point is that I loathe football violence and those who are interested in it would be best suited to Millwall as surely they are the best exponents of the "art". One would surely hope that a true R, as you are 80's, would never make that step!Surely we are better than that? (No offence intended!)

Why? People can be interested in something without being into it, it's called curiosity, or have you never heard of that, so your answer is just to support Millwall. Other sides are also involved, it's people like you who tar people/clubs with the same brush. Even Millwall have some fans who don't like FV you know. Or did you stay at home when we played them due to your arleady set in views on them. FV still exists, not everywhere and not like it used to be but it cannot be ignored or just brushed under the carpet by moving people on to 'Millwall or other clubs' like you want to do.

It may well be immature of me but I could speculate endlessly about "hardest firms".... it's alright for so-called sensible chaps to play "Risk" or other miltary strategy games, blimey, some of 'em even re-enact their favourite battles with little toys or by dressing up and going to some field in middle of nowhere. I would suggest that a thread about the ranking of Fulham's firm is actually waranted, valid, normal and very interesting.

I used to work with a couple of Fulhams "boys" in the mid 90s, and they had quite a decent mob then. The death of Mathew Fox at Gillingham , effected them badly and their firm understandedly wasnt the same after.
I dont think they were expecting Rangers to come to Craven Cottage in such numbers and all the trouble our mob caused especially into the evening , in 99.
Dont know what their like now , but the chaps i knew were good lads and always welcomed me , even though they knew i was Rangers. But then they were part of the 6000 or so true Fulham fans.

What is a "firm" these days?

I go to footy with a dozen like minded lads, get drunk, sometimes a bit lairy and am partial to wearing a few labels on the clothes front. Often people seem to think this is borderline hooliganism. Never in a million.

Rewind to 1988 plus a good few years after and it was a different scenario. Out of that dozen 3 or 4 of us could break off and join 40 or 50 other lads who would take it just a bit further.
Why? If you need to ask then you'd never understand the answer.
Now you get 4 years for something youdve got a £50 fine for back then or if you did it in a city centre at midnight these days they'd send you on the way as OB so stretched

As to the Fools they'll have a mob if you call it that of some description.
I'll be drinking with the 3 or 5 I know and having the craic
