Ireland for me for a few reasons;

1. Shane Long is a family friend (still gutted we couldn't get him when NW wasn't given the funds)
2. I'd rather eat my own face with a spoon than support a team that had that man as captain.

With a name like Keiran, you are probably Irish (main reason for supporting Ireland), so why would you support England, even if David Beckham was still captain. I am English and really don't give a flying **** about any other nation in sporting events and that's they way it should be.

Being of Irish descent (2nd generation), i see no reason at all why I can't also support them.

Unfortunately I cannot bring myself to support England anymore and will not do so again until that man has gone.

Because a member of the public made a complaint to the police about the offence, which is a crimianl offence if proven. That means the CPS has authority and duty to deal with the matter.

As it has effectively gone to a "higher power" for verdict, then the FA have, very correctly, left that higher power to reach a verdict. The FA will then act based upon that ruling.

It is quite simple and actually exactly the way it should be done.
