You've made an assumption about my feelings on that subject. That wasn't the part that I had a huge issue with. Immigration policy, and by extension the benefits system is a difficult one to broach, and would be a much longer and more nuanced debate.

However calling them scrounging foreigners and suggesting they be 'forcibly removed' and ' thrown off a cliff' (even in jest) is something altogether more sinister and downright unpleasant.

And by the way, in my circles, your opinion is very, very rare.

I think you're simplifying a complex issue there to prove a point. Abuse of the benefits system costs us tax players shed loads but hardly any will be "foreigners". The stories you read in the daily mail are one-off exceptions rather than the rule. You can't just turn up here and get free healthcare. But then again makes me proud to be british that everyone who legally lives in this country has the right to free health care and won't be refused if they haven't got the right insurance or can't afford it.

different circles then i guess but that doesnt mean i do not respect your opinion and you are welcome to it. And if these individuals come over here for the sole purpose leeching from our economy then they are "scroungers" (scroungers a naughty word round here now?)

Why I think comments like the one above are exasperating is because they are wrong on points of fact. No one can come straight into the country and claim benefit. They have to have been here for about two years. If you look at the uunemployment figures the highest proportion of claimants relative to their numbers in society is actually white working class men. We let the number of people we need into the country to take up the jobs the native population can't or won't do. The NHS, which you mention, would collapse if you kicked out all the "foreigners" who work in it. You say "it can't go on" but who are most vocal campaigners for immigration - business leaders and Tory politicians such as Michael Gove because they want more labour to boost our economy.

Now I can't be bothered to go on and have a further discussion about race now you have finally given up on gays. And you are of course entitled to hold your famous "opinions" - but plse at least get your facts straight before you spout out on a message board.
