Would be in my top three players this season, he is about to lose his place in the starting 11 but he has been IMO our most consistent defender this season. So much emphasis is put on attacking FBs but very little on defensive capabilities in the PL. Hill has proven to be capable defensively this season, very very good at the dirty niggling off the ball stuff. He'll never pull up any trees but he is reliable and a good squad player who deserves credit.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

Couldn't agree more. Also the dirty niggling stuff off the ball did anyone see him help up Luiz off the ground when they had a coming together, Hill wouldn't let go off his hand, obviously caused Luiz a bit off pain judging by his facial expression.

Does this sort off thing every game but very hard to spot when not looking for it, best player in years at Rangers who knows how to do someone and get away with it. In actual fact just like Hughes was when he played

Just a shame he can't get past the half way line and contribute offensively.

I won't miss his chips down the line and diagonal balls towards Helguson!

At the end of the day hammersmith is correct. This day and age you need to attack from the back.
