I blew a lot on vodka and tonic, gambling and fags. Looking back, I think I overdid it on the tonic. - The one and only Stanley Bowles -

Every one complaining about scoring, Just look at stoke we have scored one less then them and look at their position.
look at liverbirds they have scored a mighty 3 more then us with their strikeforce, so chill people and let the manager do his job.Comment

Perhaps MH has seen enough at training and doesn't want to add more fire power to DJ, HH, JB, FM, JM, TS and TH. (oh I forgot to add Vine to that list!)
Scoring is all about confidence and we have already seen an increase in this in every player22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!Comment

Pish, yes we have far far to many Strickers and other than HH and DJ would dump the lot. Deadwood, no good chimps that were no good in the Champ. Might as well go buy Rhodes=============================

Absolutely not. I was being flippant with the first statement.
I stand by the second part though. I can't think of any proven quality strikers available within our price range at the moment. Maynard and Rhodes would be calculated risks as will be Henrique if we sign him. Pavlyacenko is apparently unavailable, I'm struggling after that.
As I said, if you took the time to read both paragraphs (flippancy again), it would be nice to sign a striker.Comment

the point is to get a striker who wd seriously improve us wd cost fortunes. the only apparently cheap exception I've heard is RSC but that's all gone quiet and maybe it wasn't so easy to release him from his loan after all, or maybe Man City have actually asked for mega-bucks. Judging by the loan signings and relatively modest expenditure so far I get the impression (cd be wrong) there just isn't £10m available to go and blow on a striker, and even if there was not obvious who. Harry is apparently even asking £15m for Pav. The Russian striker Rangers have turned down £7m for. If we get a striker at all I suspect it will be someone like that South African - but that's a real risk and isn't necessarily going to be any better than Heider and DJ.Comment
