Where's the rumour doing the rounds mate? Personally this is the most likely outcome all round for me so wouldn't be surprised. Also I don't want us blowing half our kitty on one over inflated defender when we could get 3-4 good prem standard players for that money.

Purely ability wise I would say Id rather Samba over Alex, but if its a case of Alex for £3Mill or Samba for £10Mill, Id take Alex all day long as that extra £7Mill can be used to bring in another couple of players we desperatley need!

Really hope there's an announcement on this today, 1 way or another.

If Blackburn sold Samba to us they would be proper mugs. Irrespective of the player's wishes you do not make your opponents strong. Theres plenty of interest to sell elseware.
Alex would be good. And Bassong too if possible.

Basong is not rated at Spurs that's why He almost signed for us in the last week of bthe last window,
