Mate, you respond to the post but you don't answer the question: who and how would you bring in? Do you know Hughes is available? (And BTW I see some posters are already turning their noses up at him - amazing!). How long wd it take to get him or someone of similar quality? Wd they be up to speed on the kind of players available in this transfer window? All the players we have been negotiating with - does that continue or does that all go out of the window while Hughes or AN Other makes approaches for a completely different set of targets? And wd all these changes be going on while we play the games that we all agree are likely to make or break our season over the coming months?

Maybe TF has it all figured out and we will read of some fabulous, smooth transition starting on Monday - but I wouldn't bet on it. And if it does turn out more like I have outlined on other threads (Curle in temp charge, etc etc) wd you still be glad we had axed Warno?

Not having a go at you or even insisting we have to stick with Warno - just pointing out that axing him doesn't suddenly mean we are in clover. Infact it COULD, just possibly, leave us even worse off.

Did the players not perform because of Warnock, it looks like he can't organise or motivate them anymore, if that has happened then I don't think he'll get them back onside , therefore we have to change now. The question is Who should / could we get as replacement . Hughes,Curbishley,Bruce (please no!) Zola? Gamble on Someone up and coming like Clark,Mackay, how about an outside bet like Paulo DiCanio .

Your right longterm don't think he'll stay, there's no real big job on the horizon so offer him acontrct if he wants till End of season and a big bonus to keep us up, he may well take it as sure he wants back into football, if he keeps us up and I believe with same group of players he will get more out of them cos he's more tactically aware, I honestly don't think the players are playing for
