the problem being, realistically what strikers out there would be available unless you take a chance from lower leagues?

unless spurs sign someone like tevez defoe going nowhere
kenwyne jones may be poss but i imagine if available could end up back at stoke

Chamakh showed some early promise. Take your point on Owen. Just seems strikers we're being linked with are either no better than we have or out of our reach. I can see Pav and Yak as believable and good additions.
