First half of our Prem return done. Thoughts?

If we are in this position after our next 19 games I will be happy. Some fresh faces and we will be fine. Our dip in form has coincided with Anton being injured and us not having adequate cover. A decent CB in Jan and some fresh attacking impetus and this squad guided by NW will be safe. Things we need to do in the New Year -

    1. Beat the likes of Wigan, Bolton, Blackburn, Wolves.
    2. Not concede stupid goals (Today being prime example).
    3. Turn up at places like Old Trafford and think yeh we can nick a point here. At Anfield and Emirates we may have not been embarassed but have seemed to be happy in damage limitation.

Happy New Year to all and heres to 2012, the year we stay in the Prem (or the world ends whatever takes your fancy). U'Rssssssssssssssssss

Lets face it, we didn't start really untill TF came along at the end of August, so, about right at the mo, I'd settle for 4th from bottom in May now and you?

Good points, but we have simply not won enough against the weker sides and one of our wins was largely becauuse we were playing 9 men and still looked, by far, the worse of the sides.

I said at the start would be happy with 4th from bottom, but I don't like the idea of it being decided on the last game or two of the season.

We should have 8 more points, but due to bad team section, tactics and subs we don't, but I still think we will be safe.

I haven't agreed with you all year and there are only a few hours left.....don't make me do it now when I was so close to the finish line!

Where are all these people that reckoned we were a mid table side?

I'd take 17th at the finish. Would that be a bad season for us?
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

You say that but 6 unexpected points from Chelsea and Stoke make most of those up. The squad will only improve so I am confident.

That's nonsense, we won those games and should have won 4 more but bad decisions prevented us from doing so. Also without those unexpected wins we would be stone last so the half year report would be a bad one.

                      Agreed

                      Wins against WBA, Villa, Newcastle

                      Draws against Arsenal and Norwich

                      = 8 pts

4 points behind the points per game target IMHO, so with all of the changes and new faces not to bad, but, need some more wins at home and a STRIKER
