    Redknape not too happy !

When I bumped into him at the royal mirage in Dubai,he was sitting on the beach(staying in the R&S part of hotel)constantly on the phone and looking stressed out, also bumped into him at the beach bar and grill with his wife(who was really red hair),also not looking happy,he obviously has been rocked by all the allegations made against him,I hope he pulls through, nice guy.

Harry has been ducking and diving for years and is always mentioned when bungs/envelopes are being discussed. I wonder if this is a result of Peter Harrison who was on talk sport on October 14th, who said he was going to HMRC with evidence of payments to three managers. http://www.talksport.co.uk/sports-ne...who-took-bungs

HMRC are after football clubs and football players, who always seem to have been dodging TAX & VAT and Harry might be the first, but I bet he wont be the last.

"The indictment laid down by prosecutors states: "Mandaric and Redknapp, between 1 April 2002 and 28 November 2007, with intent to defraud and to the prejudice of HM Revenue and Customs, arranged for $145,000, paid by Mandaric as a result of or in connection with Redknapp's employment and as a reward for services, to be transferred to a Monaco bank account opened by Redknapp for that purpose, in order to conceal the said emolument from HM Revenue and Customs and evade the payment of income tax and national insurance contributions thereon".....

            Naughty naughty Harry.

He's finally being found for what he is.
              Under Les Ferdinand:
Luke Freeman, top assists in the league: 4million
Alex Smithies, great goalie for this club: 3,5million
Charlie Austin, 19 Premier League goals: 4million
Jack Robinson: Contract ran out, left for free
              And many more mistakes

LES FERDINAND, IT'S TIME TO GO

Nice to see yet another human being charged, sentenced and put before the firing squad before the event.........................innocent until proven guilty. Of course, if and when judgment falls against them nail 'em to the wall and pull their eyes out with pliers but until then??

Fair comment Blue Hoop but we all know bungs and brown envelopes have been part of the game for decades. Not saying for sure Redknap is guilty but there is certainly enough to warrant a v big investigation. It was bad enough when the sums were more modest but it is not exactly as if these people in football arent earning enough already. We all have to pay tax (well, most of us - expect Facto's a bit more of a cash in hand man) so why shouldn't these multi-millionares? IF found guilty I hope the courts come down on him like a ton of bricks.

Well if El Tel was denied the England job first time round for his "off field activities" its a hard to see how they would be able to give it to Redders.

When Capello wins the Euro's next summer, he will be given a 2 year contract to take him up to the 2014 World Cup.

Lump on at 9-1 to the the Euro's chaps (if you are English).
