Fair comment Blue Hoop but we all know bungs and brown envelopes have been part of the game for decades. Not saying for sure Redknap is guilty but there is certainly enough to warrant a v big investigation. It was bad enough when the sums were more modest but it is not exactly as if these people in football arent earning enough already. We all have to pay tax (well, most of us - expect Facto's a bit more of a cash in hand man) so why shouldn't these multi-millionares? IF found guilty I hope the courts come down on him like a ton of bricks.

I don't dispute a single word of that Stainrod and agree with your sentiments if found guilty. I have just become a bit sensitive to this kind of premature public assassination since the Faurlin affair.

Looks like he assassinated himself by opening an account in Monaco, then got his boss to pay money into it, to avoiding paying what you and I have to every week or month. He danced with the devil and got caught, which is no big deal and no boxes of Kleenex needed either, as he knew the risks.

True story about Stevie Wonder. My dad and a mate saw him perform at a small club. Dad's mate was completely p*ssed and started making a series of v inappropriate "jokes" about Wonder being blind. Manager got upset so to smooth things over the bloke offers to buy Wonder a drink and have it sent over to the piano. Peace is restored and a couple of minutes later this drink is brought over to Wonder - and its green. The bloke pipes up: "No wonder he's f*****g blind if he drinks that stuff!" Cue: end of the gig for my dad and the bloke.
