Sorry, but I won't have a word said against Trevor, regardless of whether he's right or wrong about JT. He's a decent bloke.
I once took my football team to LR for a stadium tour. I asked Trevor if he would come along to have a chat with my players about life as a pro footballer. I wasn't sure if he'd turn up, but he did, straight after training. He was brilliant with the youngsters and stayed for quite a while. Even today, he remains a hero to these lads who are now in their mid to late 20s because he took time out for them.
For that reason and because I thought he was great for QPR, he remains a hero to me as well.Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.Comment

I've called someone a fat c*** before but I have nothing against fat people. So it depends on how u look at it. I understand exactly where you are coming from, i was given two parking tickets by the same traffic warden in two different places even though there were other cars for him to choose from, i used a racist word (more in anger, he could have been any colour really i was more because it was a traffic warden) the police were called and because of a witness i was prosecuted and fined and have a record for a verbal racist attack.
I am not a racist but did use it at that time in anger, unfortunately i now have to live with people calling me a racist even though i most definately am not.Queens Park Rangers

Too many people jump on the 'Racist' band wagon. I bet Terry genuinely does have lots of black friends and is not discriminatory in his behaviour towards black people; he is guilty of being bloody stupid (as if that's news(!)) and could well end up with some form of sanction in this f'd up crazy PC world we live in now but I bet he isn't TRULY racist. Sticks and Stones and all that... (and no, I'm not defending the use of the language, but he is guilty of being stupid and little else in my eyes).
A few years back, I was playing football in Salisbury and kept getting kicked by a tall, stupid Centre Back. I called him a Scots **** and he pointed this out to the ref, so I said: 'sorry, you're right, you're still a **** though'.
Anyway, no-one is pointing out the irony in that EVERYONE calls our Irish 'keeper Paddy; some might call that racist...Comment

not everyone has the same mental capacity. Some people, such as autistic people, take things very literaly. A student at my school once said "why do they always cause all the trouble?" ..."Who?" I ask..."the black girls!"
This kid had no idea what he was saying could be deemed as offensive: it could be inteprated that he was saying "all the black girls cause trouble". But to him, he was merely saying that this particular group of girls, who are black, often cause trouble. He was simply, in his mind, picking out a similar trait that he could use to describe them.
I'm in no way saying that JT is autistic, but please be aware that not everyone in the world has the same mental capacity. To simply assume that everyone is able to think with our degree of thought and intellect is, IMO, naive.
