For all we know Adel maybe the hardest trainer on the training pitch and Warno sees him day in day out...he may even stay behind practising something or plays keep ball with all his teammates and he may be making it difficult for Warno to drop him..who knows it may have something to do with his head. The way I see it if he ain't performing at training Warno would not start him.

Some of the stuff people come out with on here make me laugh.*

Anyway I don't want to get rid of Adel, he is our most skilful player (talent involves more than skill) and he will have his magical moments for us this season - I am sure of it.*

However I don't think he is mismanaged - Neil should be awarded for the patience and faith he has shown Adel and continues to show.*

I think he does need a spell on the bench, I accept we are losing a creative player in games but we are losing a creative player who is not creating.*

He needs to find something extra, people need to stop making excuses for him. HE is the one not performing and only he can change the way he's playing.

Final word. If your manager is picking you for 90% of games then he has confidence in you. Simple as that.

RIC, alright mo cara, you must be top of Neils christmas card list now!!!
It was the right thing to take Tarbs off yesterday as he was shocking, but as an earlier poster said the decision to take him off against the vermin the week before was very strange. He was the player that could of got us to the 2 or 3 nil cushion we needed.
My view is he can rip apart champ teams and bottom 10 teams but becomes a bit of a liability against bigger sides especially away as a misplaced pass can punish us severely.

Only Adel does misplaced passes does he ? When its Adel its magnified 10 fold cos of who he is.

The thread is about Adel being dropped for others......who don't misplace passes ?

AT is our only creative player that can make things happen. I'm wondering if between NW and Barton, they are knocking him too much. Remember Barton gave him a lecture on game behaviour, that was good on what we heard about, but there may be other stuff we don't know about that is knocking his confidence.

All players thrive on confidence, and we've damaged a few, even during a game.

Loads of fair points on both sides of the coin I just see us struggling to create much & Taarabt being the obvious fall guy to me is a bad choice.

Its easy saying but he isn't creating as some have mentioned but that's exactly my point, the way he is playing is not normal Adel ie he's under clear instructions to not hold onto the ball so of course he's not going to create if he can't do the things we know he can do.

Buzz another creative player is not getting a sniff that shows me Warnock clearly likes sloggers & grafters over flair players but to me its a bit of both. Don't play Adel & keep him so restrained, let him loose.

I don't think Adel is under instructions not to create and do his skill etc otherwise there'd be no reason to play him because he offers nothing else. There are other players who could take place that work extremely hard, can pass it simply and offer nothing on the creative side. So why would warnock play him but tell him, cut out all that stuff and just play it simple - doesn't make any sense.

So why would a player go from being so what some would called greedy, who was the centre of everything good we created to a player who holds the ball for no more than 2 seconds?

Its not in Adel's nature to be playing how he is that's as clear as day. I think he is clearly under instruction because we are in the Premiership & its clearly not working.

As I've stated many times already he is the best player at the club on ability so why is he the one to be taken off every week?

                          I don't get it either.

His confidence is shot, and i think Joey is partly to blame for that.
I dont think our formation helps sometimes, against Chelsea who were also 433, he played well, played in some great balls and passes, but he wasnt so effective against(at all) yesterday, perhaps Warnock has to look at that.

Remember last season ...Warno gave a interview about Adel he said "I was screaming for him to pass pass.. then the ball was in the back of the net..what can i do ? "
Like Ric said i really think he is under very strict orders not to do that this season.

At the moment, the only place I can see for him is behind a lone striker in a 4-4-1-1 formation and give him a free role. I'm not convinced his work rate is good enough for a place in midfield, but he's certainly got the talent for a free role.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
