I think it's time the PFA were took on like Maggie took on the unions in the 80's.
I find Gordon Taylor the most arrogant full of self importance a**shole to ever appear on me telly.
The man is to blame for all the player power we have today,which is to the detriment of the clubs,where a player can sign a new 4 year contract and then a month later insist on a transfer, and still be paid all his money from the contract that he does not honour.
On tv now saying Tevez is being treated unfairly, un f**king believable.
Players are never in the wrong according to him and deserve the hundreds of thousands they earn each week.
Imo there should be a wage cap.

As you say players won't want him gone.But if these players continue to take take take
there won't be any clubs left for them to work for, and lower league PFA members will feel the effect first.

Bush I know the players won't turn on him but maybe the government should step in, don't know, but these players are losing touch with reality.

You have to love union bosses, they are the most annoying & hypercritical toe-rags about. They earn 10 times more than the prime minister, sit in their plush tax-payer funded office suites and moan all day about government cuts bought about by the last union-backed incumbent government. Nice work if you can get it!!

The PFA holds little or no sway when it comes to clubs and players salaries and has been like that for decades and it is the agents and their clients who are tearing the a""e out of the game should be taken on in higher leagues. The agents put nothing in and take excessive sums out.

The PFA may help in wages but its league 1 and 2 and it is very limited as it is not worth agents time to lift the phone.

The PFA does extract just over 20 million from TV but most of the funds if you over look PT excessive wages supports playing accident (£4m) and medical insurance, retraining and paying the wages of players when a club does not and large grants for community projects.

Whilst I am on if unions paid 10 times PM that would put then on a million and they don't so lets stick to facts.
