    Heidar

Marvelous win today - nothing can beat this.
3 of the best players today were Ferdinand, Barton and Helguson.
Heidar is really olaying well. He has started 2 games and scored in both and one as a sub against Villa where he had a big part in our goal. Difficult for NW to keep him out. Not our best player but puts in a lot of work.

Heidur just amazes me. Old war horse but battles better than anyone.

His win ratio for headers must be in the 80% range.

    Cracking player.

Always gives 100%,just not good enough for the premiership, goal against Blackburn was a cross that went in and the penalty today was nearly saved and he failed to get a single shot on target after against 9 men

So Heidar demonstrates how to be a brilliant target man and bullies a champions league defence yet you say he's not good enough?

Best we have for the lone striker role imo

He might not be good enough for the premiership in your opinion but the FACT is our top scorer having started 2 games and 1 as a sub.
He scored a goal against Blackburn intended or not and it counts as such. He scored from the penalty spot today - and it also counts.
I can tell you that not one of Taarabt, Barton, Wright-Phillips, Derry, Faurlin or Smith got a shot on target against 9 men. Does that mean none of these players are good enough for the Prem.
I can not understand why you are talking players down after such a good day for our club.

The bloke never gives up. He was written off before NW took over and now hes scoring 2 in 2 in the PL and havnig a stormer against JT?

What a bloke. Long may he continue!

Did great yesterday. Look like he had Luiz rattled as well after the penalty.

Even when they were fouling him he was still winning headers.

Very silly to say he is not good enough, think Rebel will fail to see any merit in any of our strikers until we sign someone of the quality of a Drogba in his prime. We all know we need more up front but there is no point being a stuck record about. Until we do sign re-inforcements at least give credit to what we have. Although Heider is not English he is a classic English-style old fashioned centre forward and some of the more ball playing Continental prem defenders can't handle him in the air. Where I would agree is I don't think he has 90 minutes in him, and it must be a sign of how fed up Warno is with Bothroyd that he is not subbing Heider in the 70th min when he starts to flag badly. Wd also have thought it wd help preserve Heider for the next game.

                              Hh

Two goals in two games, led the line well and cool under pressure with the penalty especially with les miserables in his ear trying to take the ball off him. Considering he probably didn't expect Many starts has come in and done the job.Proper proffesional and a big mention for Clinton hill, would never have played only due to injuries recalled from forest and done his job well.
