Trouble with footballers is, you ask if you can have a photo with them and they rarely say no.

Given that lots of people are giving positive feedback about how personable Barton is, there's every possibility that he had no idea that this wasn't just another fan wanting a pic.
No EDL member would count SWP amongst their best friends, but JB does.

his performances ,whilst not outstanding have been decent, not exactly a Scott Parker but a good addition ot the squad.

The lad obviously has big issues and at least he tries to control them, i think his public comments are a way of doing this.

Lets treat him like we would treat a simon barker and im sure more often than not we will be pleased with the player.

Can't argue you over that W12,do feel he needs to pack in the love in with the geordies.It's a bit like when NW kept on about Palace,it did start to get to me.

I will reserve my level of digging until we're adrift in the bottom 3.
Not overly happy with Bartons performances I've seen in the flesh but these boys will get my support as long as they are giving 100% on the pitch. No HT legging, twitter ramblings or political musings will deflect me from that.

Neal Warnock played an unfit player and played players out of position, not Joey Barton, so why should he appologise for NW's mistake. No one played well on Sunday, not just him.

Im not sure he's captain material but Joey Barton has been a top prem player for years now. Two 'quiet' games doesnt make him sh1t all of a sudden. Christ people were purring over him after the Wolves game
