I'm more concerned about the Joey Barton thing than I am about Warnock, afterall results will dictate Warnocks future at this club. As for Barton he hasn't impressed me, apart from the Wolves game. He looks very slow, his passing has been poor and his overall commitment leaves much to be desired. Add to that his comments about how he nearly joined Arsenal but for him getting one of their players sent off, and you have a player who maybe didn't really want to come to us in the first place ? Maybe we are not big enough for him ? Just to add, I was pleased when he first signed, but not anymore. My worry now is his potential disruptive influence in the dressing room.

I dont recall Wrighty saying Shaun signed because of Barton?
He signed because of 1st team football and Neil Warnock

Young signed because mainly its nearer his family in Wimbledon

Ferdinand signed because we wanted him and he's on a fair wedge.

And money does matter, 80k a week makes him the biggest player....Start playing like one!

Jeffro, you really need to either start eating Snickers or stop taking those Oestrogen tablets, as you are having far to many hissey fits of late.

Well I read somewhere Jeffro ,can't remember where now, that SWP and Joey were texting each other to see if they were signing.
As for the money,so you'll except someone like Bradders can have lots of bad games then because he don't earn as much?

Thats exactly it Dave, if a player like clarke or Ephraim or a youngster play poorly, you can almost expect it, it doesnt wind me up, but when your skipper, star signing on 80k a week plays poorly it DOES wind me up.

Funnily enough there is a common demnominator in that the higheer money you are paid the higher expectations..
i.e Man Unoted would expect Wayne Rooney on 150k a week to have much more importance and effect on the side than say Jonny Evans on 60k a week as an example.

BArton is a side issue. He simply hasnt played well and people avoid this and soon as I mention it initially people went off on one, it seems now more and more agree that he isnt playing well and needs to step up.

People dig out Bothroyd for his performances, well im digging BArton as he's been shite in my book.

Like i keep saying, put a captains performance in against blackburn, stop acting the clown and loving Newcastle on Twitter and Im sure it will be fine!!

Spot on Jeff. People have certain players they cant wait to jump on when theyre not performing, yet others escape such criticism. Barton is well due a big performance and, as you say, if he has a blinder and we bag 3 pts vs Blackburn I'm sure all will be forgotten and all of sudden our fans will be saying we shouldnt be fearing the top 4 again

I am not defending Barton at all, but he was not the worst player on Sunday that award goes to Fitz Hall and I dont think he has played bad in 4 games either.

Well that's rather pathetic then if people are posting ******** because they are offended with the amount a player earns. IMO Bothroyd gets stick because he is **** and cant score, not because how much he earns.
