Out of interest Jeffro, why do you want clarity so much? The bloke has long since been out of the decision making process, so as Del says, that SHOULD be enough for anyone.

Not having a dig mate, but new threads on the matter does tend to indicate somewhat of an obsession with the subject. I'm sure as you say, if there is something the new owners feel we should know about, they will tell us.Comment

I simply asked a question as to why one day it show him here, the next not..
And personally I would like to know if he is employed, Im so sorry you all dont like this..
I thought even when he was gone people would stop defending him...

Don't agree at all Brighton. Just because someone says it SHOULD be enough for someone doesn't make it so (unless you are Jean-Luc Piccard).
We are talking about someone who has been the subject of numerous disputes, not just between posters on here but also between forums. If someone wants to know, why can't they ask? Particularly as there has been no announcement from the new PR-savvy regime. You, Del and probably many others don't seem to care less, which is fair enough, but just because one is bored with the subject, or they don't agree with the point, doesn't make it any less relevant. If people are bored with it, don't read it.Comment

since you asked the questions, I'll answer out of politeness, but don't want to get into a long debate about something that is as important to me as the mascot.
1) References to his role on the website has been mentioned before, but possibly not the fact that his name has been removed. What people seem to be saying is it's yet another post, keeping him as a topic of discussion where for the majority of fans, he is not an issue.
2) Apologies, the words "so much" could have been phrased better, although you stated you wanted clarity, whereas most people couldn't give a monkeys.
3) I know you simply asked a question mate, but surely the fact that you ask so many about HIM, indicates the level of importance you seem to attach to him.
4) Whether he's gone or not Jeffro, I don't see anybody on this thread defending him. In fact, what is there to defend. He did some good things and he did some bad things, like almost any owner/chairman of any club. And in doing so, was probably acting in a way that he thought was best. Many will say that he is/was incompetent and they would have a point to a degree, but it appears that the vast majority of fans have bigger priorities now.Comment

Cant ask a simple question now without it getting dissected, and having to justify your thread on an open message board supposedly to air any subject.
And you seem to be contradicting yourself by saying " most couldn't give a monkey's" yet state numerous posts from different people asking the same question.
Obviously many people DO care.
If I hadn't been on here a while and know the drill, then I would think twice about posting again.

This site is becoming a bit of a George Orwell parody. Are individuals not allowed to post or discuss something simply because it might not be of interest to others or a "claimed" majority?
There are plenty of posts that dont interest me but I simply dont read them or glance at them. Because I drive to games do you see me having a pop at people posting about train travel or the LSA coaches, of course not
Members have the right to discuss things that interest them and are QPR related provided they dont break the policies of the site and of course other members have the right to post thier views on the matter or choose to ignore the thread completely but telling others what not to discuss is a bit of a liberty (or actually an attempt at restricting liberty!)its New Era number 8 i tell thee, bring on the fireworksComment
